This session will help instructors to increase inclusivity in the YMHFA courses. In addition to identifying area in the curriculum to allow for richer discussions on culture, this session will also unpack the strained history between socially marginalized communities and health care systems, the role of implicit bias in health care systems, and the differential impact of stigma in help-seeking behaviors. Furthermore, instructors will learn strategies on how to make the course content more culturally relevant and create a safe environment to allow for audience members to bring their full selves into the training. Finally, instructors will develop strategies on how to identify bias in participants' responses and effectively respond to maintain safety and inclusivity in the classroom environment.

NOTE: Attendees should attend both Part I & Part II
